The H Family!

I've known Mrs. H for about 2 years now. We went through our pregnancies together-so to speak. And I've known little Miss H now for almost 2 years and have watched her grow up. I can't believe what a big girl she has become. Where did the little baby go??? She was so cute. She was definately NOT into the whole "having my picture taken" thing, but I think we still managed to come out with quite a few gems. I'm gonna have a really difficult time picking which ones to edit! I think I may have to edit most of them! Anyways here's a little preview. Um....and I might be back here with more..and Mrs. H..THANK YOU! I luv ya girl!

W Family Preview

Oh my goodness. I had so much fun with this one and I can't wait to finish these. I've known this couple for awhile now from church. I remember Mr. W when he was just a single guy and we were all praying for him to find a wife. Then he did. And she is so amazing. And they are pretty known for being amazing with the kids in our church so we've been anxiously waiting for them to start a family because if there ever was a couple that needed little ones....they're it! Well this summer they made the announcement we've been waiting for and they're expecting their little one later this winter! Yaaaaay! And I had the absolute honor and pleasure of taking Mrs. W's maternity pictures and their Christmas pictures. Thank you so much for letting me do this for you! Here's a little sneak peek...

I have 3 templates completed for my custom Photo Cards! These will be fully customizeable and can include any portrait either taken by me or not (copyrighted material excluded). If you're interested, let me know! I will offer the following sizes with only one side printed and a minimum 25 card purchase:

4x6 cards only .75 per card
4x8 cards and envelopes 1.00 per card
5x7 cards and envelopes 1.25 per card

B Fam!

A Big THANK YOU to the B Family! I had the pleasure of taking their Christmas Portraits yesterday. I've already had the honor of taking their youngest daughter's newborn portraits. Well, yesterday they came over to my home and we shot their portraits outside in our front yard. I want to especially thank Mrs. B for her support and encouragement with this new adventure. Here's a sneak peek at their session!



I also had a lot of fun shooting the littlest Mr. B! He's 3 and so funny and absolutely adorable.

I Shot My Pastor

That's right. I shot him. I think I shot him around 200 times. But only about 30 of them stuck.

Oh and WELCOME to the first post of my photography blog! I hope to share with you where I've been and where I'm going and who I'm taking with me (in the photographic sense of course).

So...I shot the Youth Pastor at our church. He's working on producing his own CD of music and he wanted me to shoot and design the CD cover! It was so much fun.

It was a very cold and blustery day but that didn't stop Pastor B from having a good time. I warned him I had a camera and wasn't afraid to use it..



But once we got into it it was a real joy to watch and participate as he contemplated the title to his CD. "I Want To Know Christ".




We drove around and stopped and just marveled God's creation.



He said he was reminded of the song "How Great Thou Art".





He said, "Mrs. Novak (yes...that's what he calls all of the ladies...Mrs. so and so.) I just don't understand how people can look at all of this and not see the Creator." I agree.



And don't worry...I won't tell anybody about those few little tears I saw.
